May 2014 New Care Home, Maplecroft, Lanham Green, Cressing Welcome/Interpretation Centre for the Marks Hall Trust, Coggeshall A new building is required to help the Trust expand its range of visitors. The building which will have a gross floor area of over 300sq.m. will be constructed in straw bales with oak shingles for roofing. A significant part of the demand for electricity will be supplied by photovoltaic panels set on the roof. Sketch proposals have been prepared to accompany a preliminary bid by the Trust for grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
